Regin controllers

Most Regin controllers use the same variable list (4.3) Making each variation of a product almost the same from a variable perspective.

Depending on the controller, there is support for up to 4 different heating systems. However, a typical NODA Modbus Gateway only manages one (1) Heating System.

A NODA Modbus Gateway Addon is required to be able to read Discrete Inputs from the Regin controller. Along with the support for watchdog/failover functionality.

Both Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU are supported with the NODA Modbus Gateway Addon

Getting the version information

First, ensure that you are on the start page to get the version information from a Regin controller.

Then Press the Right button (arrow right) three (3) times to reach the Program details. Here you will find a version string in the format X.Y-x-y, with a date string. At the bottom of the screen, you will see a serial number.

Press the Right button (arrow right) twice (2) to reach another version information screen. Here you will find something along the line of EXOreal C and a version string in the format X.Y-x-y.
